Our clients’ visa outcomes – April and May 2024

May has been extremely busy with meetups and migration updates, leaving no time to share interesting cases from the past few months. Let’s take a look at what we have accumulated.

Employer Sponsored Visas

Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any skilled visas in April and May 2024, but there were plenty of cases related to Employer Sponsored visas.

While the states/territories and the Department are not very generously granting nominations, working visas are exceptionally active as never before. Many specialists in the IT industry, and not only IT! The construction industry, agriculture, automotive services – all are in need of good employees to help cover the shortage of professionals and skills in demand in Australia.

I want to pay your attention to the following news, guys! The Department plans to change the occupation lists employer sponsored visas and the structure of these visas by the end of 2024. If you are currently considering a job offer from an Australian employer, I recommend that you do not waste time and start processing your case as soon as possible.

Student Visas

In April and May, we received 7 student visas and no refusals. It’s important to note that recently there have been many refusals for both student and tourist visas.

Partner Visas

The department has been very active recently and has generously been issuing partner visas.

We have just noticed a reduction in the processing time for second-stage partner visas. This means visas are being issued faster, but unfortunately not always. Recently, we received one visa granted in 1 month, and once visa was granted in 9 months only.

We also received a temporary parent visa SC 870 with Australian resident sponsorship. Recently, we have been receiving many inquiries about this visa in our office, so below is our timeline.

Tourist Visas

Despite the approaching Australian winter, we continue to bring in tourists.

A few more of our clients have become happy Australians.
