Changes introduced by the Department on November 25, 2023 ceased most COVID concessions across visa classes. Currently study undertaken offshore while holding a valid student visa would no longer have that study included in Australian Study Requirements for subsequent Subclass 485 applications.
From 25 November 2023, online study requirements reverted to pre-COVID settings. However, online study undertaken during the COVID concession period (1 February 2020 to 25 November 2023) will continue to count towards the Australian Study Requirement giving the opportunity to apply for a Graduate visa (with all other requirements met, of course).
