If you have already booked a medical examination but have not yet attended, your appointment may be cancelled, and you will be refunded. If you are not advised that your appointment has been cancelled, you should attend if possible.
This is a temporary measure and applies to all eligible temporary visa applications currently with the Department and new applications made in Australia.
The Government will review these arrangements in early 2023.
