VETASSESS is reducing assessment time

There are the following processing times:

• A standard assessment is now expected to take 8-10 weeks to process, down from 10-15 weeks. However, every assessment is different, and sometimes Vetassess may need more time due not having all the documents and information provided.
• Assessment times for trade occupations vary depending on the program and whether all the documentary evidence required has been provided at lodgement.
• Simplified skills assessment for graduates (for visa 485) will take 1-2 weeks.
• If you are aiming to make you skills assessment faster, you may do it in just 10 business days after your application is confirmed as eligible for Priority Processing.
• In case if your positive skills assessment certificate is due to expire, you can renew it in 2-5 weeks or also use Priority Processing service.
• If you are not happy with your VETASSESS outcome, you can always appeal or/and reassess it, that may take from 8 to 20 weeks.
