Western Australia will open for overseas candidates

Great news for skilled migrants!

Western Australia announced changes for 2022-2023 migration program

First, the state will begin accepting applications from overseas candidates for state nomination. Invitations to apply for WA State nomination will be via the ranking system, giving priorities to:

  1. Applicants currently residing in Western Australia
  2. Applicants residing in Australia
  3. Applicants from overseas

Secondly, the updated criteria for inviting candidates from the State of Western Australia for the new financial year 2022-2023 are now available.

Candidates may be nominated by the states under two streams: general or graduate stream.

All changes will become available in 2022-2023 program year, however, I recommend all potential applicants to assess migration chances and start preparing documents for submission well in advance.
