Victoria’s 2022-23 Skilled Migration Program is now open for onshore and offshore applicants for skilled visas 190/491.
To receive a state nomination, you have to submit an expression of interest (EOI) to Skill Select, and then register your interest (ROI) on the Live in Melbourne portal. Please be aware that you can only have 1 active ROI submitted at any time and you cannot update an ROI once it has been submitted.
You cannot submit a separate ROI for each subclass. If you wish to change the subclass or anything else on your ROI, you must withdraw the existing ROI and submit a new ROI. Your ROI will be valid for 12 months.
Applicants with a Skills Assessment in an occupation on the eligible skilled occupation list who are living and working in skilled employment (skill levels 1, 2 or 3 ANZCO) in Victoria or from overseas will be eligible to apply for visa 190 invitation.
All applicants living and working in skilled employment (skill levels 1, 2 or 3 ANZCO) in regional Victoria or from overseas are considered for the 491 visa invitation. Initially, the state will be prioritising health occupations, however it encourages applicants in other occupations to submit a Registration of Interest.
Actually, this year state is open for all candidates of all occupations from the eligible skilled occupation list.
