South Australia is open for offshore engineers

An additional 24 Engineering occupations available for offshore applicants have been added in South Australia occupation list from Tuesday 2 November 2021.

The minimum requirements for offshore candidates for state nomination for these occupations include:

• at least eight years work experience in the nominated or closely related occupation
• a Superior English level (At least 8 for each of the 4 test components IELTS)
• at least 85 points for the Skilled Work Regional visa (available subclass 491 only for offshore candidates) in the Department of Home Affairs’ points test
• other South Australian state nomination and the Department of Home Affairs requirements

Please note that state nomination is a competitive process. There is no guarantee of receiving an invitation, unfortunately.
