Queensland is open. Skilled Migration 2023-2024

Оne of the most competitive states for skilled migration – my lovely Queensland – has released rules and requirements for state nomination candidates (visas SC190/491). To remind you, there are 900 places for visa 190 nominations and 650 places for visa 491 nominations.

The state will accept the brand-new applications ONLY, lodged from 5 September 2023. Invitation rounds will be conducted at the end of each month within this program year. Thus, the first round will be at the end of September.

IMPORTANT! Updated EOI lodged prior to 05/09/2023 will not be considered.

The state has published the occupation list QSOL, which is only applicable to overseas applicants. Those occupations are selected from the SOL following the needs of Queensland. The QSOL list specifies a requirement of 3-5 years of relevant experience. For applicants from Australia, any occupation from Short‑term Skilled Occupation List will be considered.
