Australian Capital Territory Migration Updates

Gday, guys! We are continuing update you of migration urgent and important news. In this post, I’d like to share about the message of the ACT migration office to registered migration agents, which we received right after the nomination allocations were announced.

For the migration program year 2023-2024, the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) has been allocated a mere 1200 places with an equal distribution between 190 and 491 visas – 600 nominations each. This is significantly fewer than the previous year's allocation (which was 4050 places in total). Notably, no nominations have been granted for business visas (subclass 188) at all.

These significant adjustments are anticipated to lead to an increase in the minimum scores required to secure an invitation for an ACT state nomination, coupled with a reduction in the frequency of invitation rounds.
The next invitation round will be undertaken before 29 September 2023.

Undoubtedly, such a limited number of nominations has caused disappointment among both the state government and migration agents. And I guess, such news is not welcome for all ongoing and future skilled migrants …

Let me tell you about improved conditions of our special offer!
Post-paid migration agent services are now available for applicants for any skilled visas 189/190/491.
